As with Idols, voter figures and data will not be released during the series. Each Sunday, only the voting result pertaining to that week will be distributed. The information publicised will only include the identity of the evicted party.
"Security has been substantially tightened in order to ensure there are no leaks," states Carl Fischer, CEO: M-Net Magicworks. "The production this season is linked to a number of complexed systems including Internet, Interactive TV and Telephony, from which the viewer can vote. These systems are all controlled by one unified database, however, and Price Waterhouse Coopers will verify the results throughout the series. The public can, therefore, rest assured of the integrity of the results."
"We're also aware that knowledge of voter polls can influence a final result. Keeping the figures and data concealed will, therefore, guarantee that this does not happen," Fischer continues.
