Appetisers added to Good Hope FM's lunchtime

Good Hope FM has just announced that Guy McDonald will be joining the station to host the brand new, refreshed lunchtime show with Priya Reddy from Monday, 29 September. McDonald and Reddy's revamped lunchtime show titled ‘Lunch, Actually' follows Sifiso Maggz's departure as presenter of the show, broadcast Mondays to Thursdays, 12-3pm. Vania Cloete on news and Brandon Baatjies on sport will stay on as contributors.

Reddy's current presenter spot on the weekend lifestyle show (Saturdays & Sundays; 3-6pm) will be taken over by Parusha Naidoo, who will present the show from Saturday, 4 October, with Wardah Hartley on news.

Ebrahiem Inglis will be presenting the early morning slot, Monday-Friday, 2-6am.

“We can't wait to welcome Guy's infectious humour and unique personality to Good Hope FM. Priya's move to weekday radio is also long overdue and we are very excited about the energetic dynamics expected from our new lunchtime team,” says Gerard Muller, Good Hope FM Programme Manager.

Guy McDonald started his radio career at MFM community radio in Stellenbosch, before moving on to KFM; he currently presents the breakfast show on Ackermans instore radio. He is a 28-year-old South African with experience as aCommercial and Retail Radio presenter, actor, master impersonator, freelance studio director, MC, voice-artist, salesman and scriptwriter.
