    South Africa takes on England

Tonight see's S.A take on the English in the opening T20 match of the super eights. South Africa still has the memory of losing to England in the last ODI series they played. With the flamboyant and outspoken Kevin Pietersen ready to bury his former country.
    South Africa takes on England

S.A coach Mickey Arthur says that after the loss to England last year, that made him realise to re-shuffle the Proteas side. As they did not have slow paced bowlers with the ability to take the pace off the ball. With the fairly new inclusions of J.P Duminy, Paul Harris in to the bowling attack, Mickey believes they stand a better chance now against England. As spin bowlers became an intricate part of modern day T20 matches

"You need guys who can bowl genuinely quick and take wickets and then you need the guys who can take the pace off the ball to slow the game down.” Mickey said.

Mickey should still be cautious of England even though they lost to the Netherlands they still convincingly beat the Sri Lankan's. The English are no push over's, South Africa should hold the top four in the batting line up for as long as possible. This will in turn pressure England when they face Dale Steyn and Wayne Parnell.

Although Kevin Pietersen is on form he can be stopped, just like Australia was. I guess it comes down to the discipline and the confidence of our side. The Proteas do have an unlucky record in big tournaments like the T20 World Cup. But we have to wait and see till tonight.
