Mngadi heads up Africa for CVNG

Former Coca-Cola Company and Cell C executive S'bu Mngadi has been appointed chief executive officer for Africa of Cendant Vacation Network Group (CVNG), a subsidiary of NYSE-listed Cendant Corporation, with immediate effect.

Mngadi brings to CVNG a wealth of experience in global general management, strategy, consumer marketing, public policy and regulation development. He is a former vice president of The Coca-Cola Company, which he served in southern Africa and in U.S. before joining Cell C in October 2003 as its chief corporate and strategy officer.

Ken May, New York-based global chairman and chief executive officer, CVNG, says: "Africa represents one of the world's greatest growth opportunities for innovative vacation options for leisure travelers, with South Africa being our second fastest growing market after Latin America.

"Mngadi is uniquely qualified and experienced to lead our company's growth and expansion on the continent."

CVNG companies in Africa include RCI, The Registry Collection, Hotel Dynamics, MT Beds and Vacation Rental Group, among others.
