Caxton magazines' circulation flourishes
Three titles maintained, namely, Bona, People and Essentials. Garden & Home had a slight drop from 93 759 to 91 596, but still remains way ahead of any competitor in its market. Woman & Home was the star performer showing a first ABC of 78 687.
According to Debbie McIntyre, Deputy General Manager, Caxton Magazines: "We are delighted to see that our continuous efforts are reaping benefit and that we are firmly on the right track."
Caxton Magazines' recently launched title Woman & Home, has secured a 78 687 Audit Bureau of Circulation (ABC) certificate for the period of January - June 2005.
"Launched in April this year, Woman & Home has proved that there is a viable market for a publication catering to the more mature woman. We are delivering what our readers want and this title has filled a distinct gap in the market," says Caxton Magazines Deputy General Manager Debbie McIntyre. "In addition, advertising support is growing steadily and this ABC figure reinforces our message to advertisers that this title should be included on magazine schedules. "
According to Woman & Home's Editor, Frith Thomas, "It shows that the smart, sexy and confident older reader we're targeting is loving the fact that at last there is a magazine with glamorous fashion and beauty aimed directly at her. We're delighted with the figures and are confident we'll carry on growing to be the voice of the 35-plus woman."
