One of the world's biggest commodity producers, BHP Billiton has set production records for all four of the commodities it produces with Western Australia Iron Ore shipments rising to an annualised rate of 155 million tons.
The figures are contained in the group's production report for 2011. It has reported strong performances in natural gas production, copper and petroleum production.
