Diageo, owner of Johnnie Walker, one of the world's best-selling Scotches, has developed new technology to crack down on whisky counterfeiters.
The drinks giant, which produces 15.4 million cases of Johnnie Walker a year, accounting for 27% of its £9.9 billion annual sales, is to introduce a device to stop crooks refilling its bottles.
