Get professional tips for Gold Quill entries

The Gold Quill, the International Association of Business Communicators' (IABC) global awards competition recognising outstanding achievement in communication, is open for entries for the 2010 awards. Multi-Quill winner and African Quill coordinator Mari Lee will present a workshop to entrants in honing their entries on 3 December 2009, in Johannesburg.

The awards comprise 27 categories grouped into three divisions: Communication Management, Communication Skills and Communication Creative and five Student categories. Entries close on 3 February 2010.

The programme aims to cross communication disciplines and reviews entries from professional communicators ranging from strategists to tacticians. Information about the winners will be shared in its magazine "Communication World,” at its international conference, and on the IABC website. Their work will also be considered for publication in its resource materials. Each year, the competition attracts entries from IABC members and non-members in over 25 countries.
