New range from Riebeek
The Kasteelberg range will become the flagship range of wines for Riebeek Cellar, which produced its first Méthod Cap Classique, Kasteelberg MCC in 2007.
This was not only the cellar's first MCC, but also reportedly, the first MCC produced in the Swartland region. The cellar has now released Kasteelberg Viognier 2009 - the winery's first non-sparkling wine under this label and it may produce a Kasteelberg Shiraz later in the year, depending on the quality of Shiraz produced. The Viognier 2009 has a cellar door price of R65.
