Aged in a combination of new, but mainly second and third-fill French oak with the remainder matured in a few new American oak barrels, the 2009 Shiraz was released to accommodate the ever-growing local and international demand for this wine.

“The Allesverloren Shiraz 2009 is deep ruby in colour and teems with aromas of black current, prunes and cigar box complemented by a hint of oak spices, whilst the palate is rich and full with ample ripe fruit and a good tannic structure,” describes winemaker Danie Malan.

Malan recommends serving the Allesverloren Shiraz 2009 with poultry, veal and red meat dishes. Allesverloren Shiraz 2009 retails at approximately R85 in leading wine outlets countrywide.
