Following the worldwide trend of maintaining a healthier and balanced lifestyle, there has been an increased demand for lower calorie soft drinks in South Africa. The company says it is acknowledging this by launching 7 Up Free with only 1.5 calories per 100ml.

“We have not had a sugar-free lemon and lime soft drink in our stable so with the launch of 7 Up Free, we are not only expanding our portfolio, but extending our sugar-free product offering to our consumers. Each sip releases a crisp, cool and fresh burst of lemon and lime, embodying the extrinsic factors of clear refreshment and clear thinking. The product contains natural flavour and is free of sugar, caffeine and colourants, which makes it an attractive offering to the health conscious consumer.

Our brand ambassador is Fido Dido and this clear thinker, free-spirited and lively character represents the refreshing satisfaction of 7 Up Free,” says Mazen AlMasri, Pepsi International Marketing Manager of Sub Sahara Africa.

7 Up Free is available countrywide in 330ml cans and 500ml and 2 Litre bottles.
