Disney magic comes to Rand Show 2008

The world's leading entertainment brand is coming to the Rand Show 2008 at the Johannesburg Expo Centre, Nasrec from 21 March to 6 April 2008.

The Disney Festival is one of the key attractions at this year's show, offering a powerhouse children's entertainment line-up that includes an awesome, fantasy wonderland of attractions giving South African youngsters the opportunity to experience the incredible magic that only Disney can produce.

Rand Show is one of Gauteng's premier family destinations, boasting an incredible entertainment, exhibition and events line-up that caters for the entire family. With a clear strategic intention of the Rand Show to cater for family members, it is a fitting match to host the Disney Festival.

”Rand Show 2008 sees the introduction of a brand new Disney activation zone featuring interactive zones catering for toddlers through to teens. And no doubt Mom and Dad will thoroughly enjoy the day spent with the kids in a quality entertainment fest that boggles the imagination.

“We are absolutely thrilled to be able to bring the magic of Disney to Rand Show visitors by giving South African children a once in a lifetime experience. The Disney play zone will consist of various activation zones that depict prominent Disney properties, bringing the stories to life and affording the children a chance to loose themselves in the various Disney elements that are loved and enjoyed by children across the globe,” says Amanda D'Halluin, Disney.

The play zone will cater for Rand Show's younger visitors ranging from toddlers through to teenagers. The interactive displays will include: The Mickey Mouse Club House inflatable; Winnie the Pooh's 100 Acre Wood bouncing castle; JoJo's Circus inflatable; Little Einstein's rocket ship; Disney Princesses dress-up parlour; Jungle Book jungle gym; High School Musical; Hannah Montana dress-up and the Pirates of the Caribbean life-sized pirate ship.

A Rand Show entrance ticket is a valuable commodity that grants unlimited access to Gauteng's premier day-visit destination during the holidays. Once inside the show grounds, there is no additional entry fee to any of the entertainment events offered with the exception of the amusement park, helicopter and adrenaline thrill rides. It promises a day filled to the brim with diverse entertainment suitable for the entire family.
