Busted for infant milk

A Marlboro shop owner was caught red-handed when police stormed his outlet and found 30,000 tins of state-issued milk formula that is supplied to hospitals.

The 49-year-old could not explain where he got the baby formula from or why he was selling it as it clearly stated “Not for sale”. He was subsequently arrested and is expected to appear in Wynberg magistrate's court soon.

Police inspector Moses Maphakela said police received a tip-off that Nan Pelargon that is supplied to hospitals was being sold at the shop.
