MSN SA to offer online bookmaking

MSN South Africa has announced an advertising partnership with Ladbrokes.com, the world’s largest bookmaker operators.

The initiative, which also marks the launch of Ladbrokes’ entry into Africa, will run through their locally appointed agency 9Digital Advertising and is set to offer users an easily accessible betting experience through MSN.co.za.

Ladbrokes.com allows sports enthusiasts 24 hour access to permanent online tax-free betting and ensures the highest level of security as well as instant payment into the punter’s selected account in Pound Sterling, guaranteed completely free of charge.

"We are very excited about this strategic alignment due to its great value offering to South African online consumers. We are always open to new ideas and the building of new distribution channels that are able to deliver excellent entertainment and the best value to the consumer. This deal with Ladbrokes.com, shows our commitment to delivering world-class products and services to local online consumers," says Ashika Kalyan, country manager at MSN.

"We chose MSN.co.za as the preferred South African portal due to their high standard of service as well as the decidedly successful online campaigns that we have run on MSN.co.za in the past, which have yielded great results for our customers. Over a 12 month period, MSN.co.za has offered the best value for money and they demonstrate sound understanding of our business through provision of extremely flexible advertising options to accommodate the different events run by Ladbrokes.com," says Helen Lawrenson, director of 9Digital Advertising.
