New category for Construction New Media Awards
The Construction New Media Awards (CNMA) 2009 - which highlight new media design through honouring and accrediting those designers, writers, programmers and thinkers who produce challenging, imaginative, interactive work both on a creative and functional platform - has a new category this year, innovation, inspired by the constant redefinition of the digital space.
The four categories are: online, offline, motion graphics and innovation. Entries from professionals as well as students are encouraged; 2008 saw a record number of entries. The deadline is 12 December 2008.
A trophy will be awarded in each category at the CNMA ceremony during the Design Indaba Conference 2009, with one overall winner receiving the Grand Prix. While there may be no fortune in winning a Construction New Media Award, the opportunity to have work viewed by the renowned judges is paramount. The top student winner will receive a trip to the UK to work alongside an acclaimed designer.
