Thloloe leaves e.tv

e.tv Editor-in-Chief, Joe Thloloe, has resigned from the channel effective immediately, leaving Debora Patta responsible for the day-to-day management of e.news.

Thloloe joined e.tv as a news and current affairs consultant and was instrumental in the establishment of Morning Edition. In 2002 he was appointed Editor-in-Chief of e. news, responsible for news and current affairs programming across the channel.

CEO Marcel Golding expressed regret at Thloloe's departure. Thloloe says: "I'm sad to be leaving e.tv at this crucial juncture in its development but it is time for me to look at ventures beyond the channel. There are talented people I leave behind and they should be able to catapult e-news to another level."
