Reward for Beeld robbery info

NEWSWATCH: A R25 000 reward is being offered for any information that leads to arrests in connection with the 38 computers, four cars, camera and cellphone stolen from the Hatfield, Pretoria offices of Beeld on Friday night, 23 November 2007, writes IOL.

The Mail & Guardian Online reports that journalist Charlene Smith is demanding a public apology regarding the publishing of "serious inaccuracies" from Mark Gevisser, author of the book Thabo Mbeki: The Dream Deferred.

Meanwhile, according to The Times, former model and reality TV show Stripteaze judge Christina Storm last week escaped an attempted hijacking in Newtown, Johannesburg.
