Online gaming dealt a bad hand

NEWSWATCH: Anton Harber, Caxton Professor of Journalism at Wits University, has responded to SABC group CEO Dali Mpofu calling him a “right-wing conservative” in Business Day, spelling out his beliefs so that the public can judge for themselves. Online gaming is also facing tougher new measures.

The 12 SABC board nominees were also named earlier this week, reports IOL.

The 12 nominees recommended by the National Assembly's communications committee include six current board members –Alison Gilwald, Andile Mbeki, Fadila Lagadien, Khanyisile Mkhonza, Christine Qunta, and Ashwin Trikamjee. The remaining six are Nadia Bulbulia, Desmond Golding, Peter Vundla, Bheki Khumalo, Gloria Serobe, and Pansy Tlakula.
