Members are required to nominate 24 individuals, including one representative for the Durban and one representative for the Cape Town regions before 15 August 2013.
Odette van der Haar, CEO of the ACA explains, "The AGM is an important event that underpins self-regulation in the advertising and communications sector. At the AGM, ACA will report on the activities and successes of the past fiscal and discuss plans for the year ahead. During these turbulent economic times, it is imperative that it works with its members to ensure business and sector success and this task will be put to the new board of directors.
"Members are encouraged to attend the AGM or failing which to submit a proxy in order to cast their vote. We look forward to interacting with our members, reporting on the year that was and welcoming the 2013/2014 board of directors."
