Bronze for NG Kids print creative at Cannes

Start-up advertising agency FoxP2 won a bronze Cannes Lion award for its advertising print campaign, "They don't have to learn the hard way", for National Geographic Kids magazine at the 53rd International Advertising Festival last week. Publishers 8 Ink Media are delighted with the achievement.

Says Michael Bester, NG Kids associate publisher, "FoxP2's creative interpretation of this campaign communicates an insight into children to which all parents can relate, while the visual elements reinforce the 'edutainment' message that we aim to impress upon both our readers and their parents".

The campaign, which has been run in various local titles, including Sarie, Fair Lady, Weg and go!, will feature again in August and September, when an Afrikaans version of National Geographic Kids launches.
