The Salt Cave exhibits at SETE 2013

The Sports and Events Tourism Exchange (SETE) taking place from the 22-24 October 2013 at the Durban International Convention Centre (ICC), aims at positioning South Africa as a sports tourism destination.

Every athlete aspires to be the best in their sport therefore body, mind and soul should work in unison to ensure the best results. It can take only one element to impact the overall performance and respiratory problems can be one deterrent. Effective breathing is critical for success and The Salt Cave is there to assist in preparing the body to perform at its best.

Salt therapy also known as Halotherapy is known to also assist in Sports Performance Enhancement by normalising the breathing patterns. When the body is working within its physiologically normal parameters it can work at its increased level of performance and stamina and endurance is maximised. Athletes find that once they have corrected their breathing patterns, they can achieve better performance with less breath. This means athletes would have more air in reserve and therefore have increased and optimal performance, thus giving you the competitive advantage!

Salt Therapy is a natural drug-free solution and in demand internationally as there are thousands of people around the world suffering from various respiratory problems and there aren't many natural therapies available for them.
