This year, she has used her fascination with human anatomy and the mechanics of the human form to inspire the collection. It highlights the anatomy through exploring the body and using its parts as ornamentation.
"The human anatomy is a concrete, natural and flawless form, and I want to express how such a constructed shape can be manipulated and deformed, using avant-garde cuts and detailed design techniques," explains Heyns, a Johannesburg based label, appealing to the artistic thinking woman and men who like a little exclusivity.
