What's on at the 2018 Basha Uhuru Freedom Fest?

The youth festival is held in commemoration of South Africa’s youth of 1976 and was established in 2013 to provide a platform that would facilitate the spectrum of artistic expression for young professionals in the creative industry. In its first year, the festival - which encompassed a group art exhibition, panel discussions, and a music concert - attracted over 1,500 youth.

With youth unemployment as a key focus in national discourse, the festival offers an unparalleled youth creative showcase profiling the creative sector as an attractive and viable sector for youth to participate in economically.
