With a few days and counting to the imposition of e-tolling, Fedusa has entered the fray - along with a range of other bodies - in an effort to halt what must be ranked as one of the most deeply unpopular moves on the part of government.

Shocking news indeed, and at this rate we are likely to see similar, or even greater numbers lost than last year - which at a total of 443 rhino poached was the worst year on record for South Africa. 
The Road Freight Association (RFA) has filed papers in the Pretoria High Court in an attempt to join the legal proceedings against the implementation of e-tolling in Gauteng, scheduled for April 30. 
With South Africa's tourism industry showing resilience in tough global economic times in 2011 and recording good growth, INDABA 2012 is again set to be a crucial platform for sales and the forging of strong partnerships with all industry stakeholders to grow the sector.
