Well, this is our last newsletter for 2011, but we will be back with our first newsletter for 2012 on 10 January. In the meantime we will continue to update the site, but at a lower rate since a great many of you, being far cleverer than us, will be relaxing on holiday or at home with friends and family, and work will be the last thing on your mind.

An international poll conducted by British Airways shows that Cape Town is the fifth most desirable destination in the world among eager travellers keen to get away for the festive season according to a report published by IOL Travel.

The Western Cape provincial government intends to broadcast CCTV footage of people dying or maimed in car crashes to raise road safety awareness during the festive season. The campaign, "Crash Witness", was launched by MEC for transport Robin Carlisle earlier this week.
