Working as a Director of Photography and Senior Cameraman, I've worked in a range of settings from rural South Africa to international locations.
My professional work started in news and current affairs with Oryx Media, where I covered South African national elections, protest action, 2010 World Cup (for Nairobi TV), and other live news events. I gained skills in working
in high-pressure, deadline-dependent settings.
As a freelance DOP, I have completed work for a variety of national and international clients including Sanlam, National Geographic and Mercedes Benz - producing high-quality, professional commercial content. My recent documentary Uitgesmyt was released in July 2018 at Labia Cinema and is due to be broadcast on ETV.
Being that I am passionate about camerawork and photography, I am deeply motivated and loyal to the work that I do.
My skill-set includes the use of a range of cameras including all Panasonic P2 cameras, the EX range, the Sony FS
- AS2 range, Canon and all DSLR cameras.
