Call me a matchmaker, cupid, marriage counselor, etc. What ever you want to call me for the services I offer.
One of the most important aspects of recruitment is understanding your client; that entails drilling in deep to get an understanding of their culture and therefore what personalities will suit their environment. After I have understood the culture, then I find candidates that are the right fit to the teams; a personality compatible to the company. That is what I do; I match.
This sometimes requires headhunting candidates who are or not in the market; conducting the first preliminary interviews with them; find out what organisations they have an interest in, what structure best suits them, etc. Then get them in front of suitable clients for exploratory discussions.
I do a lot of counselling; both clients and candidates trust and rely upon me (this is how I build strong and lasting relationships, not just focusing on making the placements (though essentially I do need to make them, that is the nature of the business), but long standing relationships. A satisfied client will always refer you to their network; so I strive to give the best service I can to both the client and the candidate.
A good recruiter will have integrity: This is who I am, I have an open do policy with both the client and the candidate. If I am unable to assist, then I will be upfront about it and if I can give a referral, then I will. This is transparency; this way you gain respect in the market and you don't make promises you cannot deliver on.
Some of my Key Skills:
Strong Business Development
Account Management
Head Hunting
Executive Placements
Candidate Management and Talent Management
Interviewing
Recruitment Advice
Research
Pre-Screening
Industries I specialize in:
Telecommunications
Financial Services
