I obtained a BA Marketing Communication degree in 2012 and a BA Strategic Communication Honours degree in 2013, from the University of Johannesburg. I have served in varied positions within media, advertising agencies such as FCB Johannesburg and office administration at an estate agency, Jazmax Estate Agents. I am currently working at PHD Media as a Media Strategist, serving on the Unilever South Africa account, specifically on brands in the Beauty & Personal Care category (Pond's, Baby Dove, Dawn, Brut, Even & Lovely, Tresemme, All Things Hair, Organics, Close Up, Mentadent, Simple skin care and Shea Moisture). The portfolio of media accounts that I have managed as a digital campaign manager include Teljoy and brands in the GlaxoSmithKline stable, namely Otrivin, Aquafresh, Med-Lemon and Sensodyne. As a media strategist, my clients have ranged from being in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods industry to automotive giants, Toyota, Lexus and Mercedes-Benz. I am skilled in Client Relationship Management and served as a trainee Account Executive at FCB Johannesburg, in 2014 on the Toyota account.
I am looking for a more structured role within the areas of Office Administration, Project Assistant, Project Administrator and Marketing Administrative Assistant . In 2018, at Jazmax Estate Agents, I assisted the branch owner with Personal Assistant duties, provided administrative support to the estate agents, receptionist duties, engaged respectfully with walk-in clients and professionally liaised with clients via written or verbal communication. My reason for leaving the above mentioned role is that I relocated back to Johannesburg from Durban.
