The built-up environment has been my area of major interest from my teenage days which can be linked to my family background. I picked up my interest through my father's personal projects by assisting with interior designs, furniture designs and contract delivery. This gladdened my heart and was able to strengthen my orientation to study any course related to the built-up environment which ranges from Civil Engineering, Building, Environmental Management and Urban Planning because I knew learning further would truly expose me to other questions that were left unanswered in my mind.
I later decided to have a background in Urban and Regional Planning which prepared me strongly for the industry and also the rigour of a graduate program by providing me with good and basic understanding of both theoretical, conceptual, qualitative and quantitative (empirical) background of sustainable planning that will be applicable to urban planning, environmental management, sustainable resource management and the body of research knowledge.
After graduation, I decided to join the professional workforce which over the years has given me a better perspective of theories and practices. I started my career in the Business sector where I worked primarily in Logistics and Distribution of the company's brands to our branches in Nigeria. My academic knowledge of Transportation studies and Project evaluation was invaluable in carrying out my duties because I was promoted quickly to manage one of our branches. I later went to the University of Ibadan to pursue my Master degree in Urban and Regional Planning and majored in Research and the Business of Transportation Management. I observed that my interest in the Built environment in more fiscal inclined and environmental profitability in-tuned. Hence, I joined Swift Networks in 2013 as a Customer Service and Business Executive trainee.
I am currently studying a Business program at Regenesys Business School to earn an MBA in South Africa on a part-time basis twice every month. I believe it will enhance me with the evolving fundamentals of Businesses in the 21st century. Over the years, I have built my core work values as a performance-driven Team Lead with viable Data and Business Analyst skills and as also served as a Sales and Customer Experience Supervisor/Consultant having possessed valuable working experience in diverse department especially in Customer Service/Sales/End User Support and Technical Support in telecommunication services and facilities. I have valuable years of qualitative and quantitative experience in field sales research which have allowed me to impact several areas in the urban business space in Nigeria ranging from Telecoms, Facility management, Garment and Textile business with a personal part-time business in the Building industry.
In my last role as the Team lead of Swift Smart Business Backend Support, Customer Recovery and also doubled as a data analyst in Swift Customer Retention Unit with other assigned responsibilities, I have a well-deserved reputation for getting work done on time and within the desired Service Level Agreement.
