Show profile Hide profileSince leaving the United Kingdom in 2013 to peruse a career in the emerging South African Film and Television industry, I have gained huge success within my position as a freelance Production Manager and recently, a Producer. Many of the companies I have worked with have continued to utilise my skills and abilities throughout the years and have offered me project shares for continued employment.
My work portfolio is extensive, having set up and managed a high volume of commercials for the United Kingdom, USA, Amsterdam, Denmark and Poland. Inclusive of this I have produced a few productions including a music video for Donald alongside Pilot Films as well as a South African design television series called 'Stylstryd' and worked on a local feature filmed called 'Finders Keepers' with Director Maynard Kraak.
Production Management includes five stages; 1. project development, 2. pre-production, 3. production, 4. post-production and 5. distribution. The responsibilities are in-depth and weighted. Activities associated to this position includes, but is not limited to, budgeting, staffing, resource forecasting, sourcing, allocation and development, scheduling, contracts, logistics and finance.
An integral part of the position includes the engagement and servicing of the international clients and advertising agencies. This is a strong skill that I possess and have refined over the duration of my freelance career. The various companies I work with have seen many return clients based off of the service that they have received from myself and my team.
