As the Makro e-Commerce Project Manager I was responsible for the management of the e-Commerce platform, supply chain, customer and sales lifecycle. The purpose of the role was to formulate and execute the e-Commerce Strategy. The strategy was to maintain and improve the Makro Online presence and performance thus enabling Makro Online to be our customer's choice for online shopping.
This entailed the stabilisation of current online capabilities, improvement of the customer journey and user experience, enablement of additional Digital functionality, Customer Management functionality and e-Commerce SME to supporting business units.
