Currently the Senior On-Air Producer for Comedy Central, Nickelodeon, NickToons and NickJr at Viacom International Media Networks Africa.
I started working for Viacom in 2012 as the On-Air Producer for MTV Base and later MTV SA. At the beginning of 2014 I moved brands within the company to Comedy Central and Nickelodeon, also as the On-Air Producer.
I have a BA Fine Arts, an MA Fine Arts specialising in Digital Animation and have always had an interest in animation and a passion for video games. I taught Honours and Masters in 3D Animation as well as a theory course on Comic Books and Videogames.
I began presenting a TV show called PlayR, on video games, and in December 2008, this expanded to a live show, called The Verge, both of which ultimately ended in 2012. I produced content for The Verge between 2010 and 2012, which includes scripting inserts, doing voiceovers, sourcing footage, doing imaging and intro sequences.
I write, and have written for multiple publications and websites, primarily on the subject of video games and tech. I was also the Editor and part owner of my own online pop culture magazine called Spliced.
I have MC-d events such as the LG 3D Gaming Finals and the South African launch of the Playstation Vita and Playstation 4 as well as spoken at a number of conferences on video games.
I was a speaker at TEDxSoweto in 2013 and was on the Mail and Guardian's list of Top 200 Young South Africans in 2013.
