She started her career as a corporate M&A lawyer after obtaining a masters in law from Oxford University. After 5 years in private practice, she decided the legal field was no longer for her, and went to Cambridge University where she obtained an MBA.
Following her studies, she joined Ernst & Young LLP to work as a management consultant, focusing on strategy, organizational structure, culture and people. Nicola enjoyed a very successful career in consulting, legal publishing and financial services industries; helping companies maximize growth and profitability via their strategic direction, structure, culture and workforce.
In a personal capacity, Nicola obtained several coaching qualifications and has worked as an executive coach for the last 5 years - in both the public and private sector.
In 2017, Nicola established OP Consulting, which helps South African companies maximize their potential through their strategy, structure and people. She also works with several entrepreneurs and senior executives as a business coach.
