I have been involved in GIS application for the 6 years, ranging from data capturing, cleaning, developing small scale boundaries for research support, to producing maps for different research purposes. I have developed my GIS application skills through attending a number of courses through different service providers. I just completed my BA Honours Degree in Environmental Management with Unisa.
I have a good understanding of Environmental legislation theory that I have developed through my studying and believe that I can contribute to its enforcement. I have built a good understanding of our environment to contribute to the sustainable way of our natural resources within the country, which includes mine rehabilitation. I also have a good understanding of Nema and other environmental acts.
I don't have working experience in the field of Environmental, but my determination to study towards that field while working is an indication of passion for our environment. I understand that experience counts most, but I believe your institution can invest and give back to community by employing a junior personnel that is eager to learn and work in the field. The main question is if we all look for expects in all fields, then who will provide experience to the inexperienced citizens of our country? I'm appealing to your office to consider me as a candidate that can join the team and gain required experience in the field.

I have completed my Honours degree in environmental management because I have passion for the environment and would like to pursue my career in that direction. I completed my research article using GIS to assist me in completing my analysis.
