I have designed across many print and digital titles, as well as illustration and fine art. working at publishing houses such as New Media taught me to keep strictly to deadlines. It gave me the ability to work under pressure, thus enabling me to work faster & more efficiently, yet still keep the quality of work high, something I constantly strive for.

Layout designer: Advertorial layout, rate cards and promotions for the Sales department for consumer titles. Setting up work for repro, packaging, etc., as well as powerpoint presentations for clients.

Motoring division - worked across 4 titles: BMW Freedom, KIA, Mercedes, Mitsubishi Xplore (junior art director for 3 issues), FNB Roots magazine.
MARCH 2008 - DECEMBER 2009
Under leadership of creative director Crisipian Brown, I designed across many titles including: Time Out, Eat Out, BRAVO. Digital magazines: Eat out Best Of, Page for Media24. My role also included designing for new business pitches.

Freelance designer as well as full-time art facilitator at the Lalela Project, educational arts for at-risk youth to spark creative thinking and awaken the entrepreneurial spirit. Here I also helped to create a new brand identity used for newsletters and their upgraded website (http://www.lalela.org/).
Integral Hatha Yoga teacher at Somersault Studios (current) and Yoga Awakening Africa.
