Advertising vacancies on company website as well as externally Hiring managers send out a requisition form of a position that they would like us to advertise. We would then load the position on the company system and advertise the job on the company website.
Briefing with clients on recruitment roles each consultant is allocated specific jobs. Once a job is allocated to you, you need to call the hiring manager regarding the role, to get a better understanding of what they are looking for.
Sourcing CVs When there are no suitable candidates from the AD responses, the hiring manager normally requests that we source externally for CVs. We normally source CVs from Pnet, Career Junction and headhunt from LinkedIn.
Screening CVs from internal and external AD responses this screening is from the AD responses as well as CVs we would have sourced from various career portals.
Prepping of candidates prior to interviews
Assist with all recruitment queries
Manage all recruitment related administration this entails sending calendar invites for interviews to both hiring managers as well as candidates. Updating the system if a job is on hold or cancelled. Providing hiring managers with candidate details. Providing candidates with feedback on their application.
Schedule candidate assessments and checks
Conduct candidate references
Negotiating salary with candidates and clients
Reason for leaving: Restructuring within the company. Retrenchments.

My role was to assist Human Capital Officers across all regions and nationally with recruitment or any other HC related work at African Bank in the HC Distribution/Retail Department. I was the only RPO consultant in this department heading this project on my own.
My duties involved and were not limited to:
Assessments Booking candidates for assessments- which includes finding out whether the candidate is available, communicating with branch managers to find out if they are available to facilitate the candidate assessments. Sending calendar invites to both candidate and branch managers and also sending logins to the branch managers. Should the candidate encounter login issues, I then provide them with other logins. Once results are obtained-Providing candidates with assessment feedback.
Recruitment (Branch Manager, Sales Consultant and Contact Centre) this includes sourcing of CVs on Pnet and headhunting on LinkedIn. I also screened CVs from AD responses on People fluent as well as CVs sent to me by agencies. The recruitment process I followed started with posting Ads on LinkedIn, telephonic screening, sending the CVs to the relevant HCO, Scheduling candidates for assessments, obtain assessment results from HCO, Schedule interviews, Providing candidates with interview feedback, negotiate salary, ensure candidate has signed HC contracting pack .
Managing and liaising with agencies As soon as vacancies are available I send the vacancy list to our preferred supplier list of agencies in order for them to start assisting in sourcing for suitable candidates. Agencies will then forward possible candidate CV’s to me, I will then screen them before sending them to the relevant HC Officers. The HC Officers will then advise if they are interested in proceeding forward with the candidates or not. If they are interested in the candidates I will then schedule candidate assessments. If they pass the assessments I will then schedule candidate interviews. The last stage will then be to request checks results, and other relevant candidate information from agencies. Discuss and negotiate salaries with agencies on behalf of the candidates. Once offer has been made, ensure the candidates signs the HC contracting pack and is available to come through to induction.
Bursaries Ensuring all the forms are signed, the amounts are indicated on the application forms, and relevant documentation is attached such as invoices, ID, Proof of Registration etc.
Recruitment Pack Assisting HCO’s with putting together the welcome pack. Checking each pack has the relevant documents e.g. Checks, V Report, CV, Debarment etc.

Assisting HCO's with Staff Optimization
Administration Keep and update candidate tracking lists for all HCO's, sending calendar invites for interviews, assessment dates. Sending Branch Managers login codes, Screening CVs from People Fluent.
Planning and balancing work to ensure I met all HC needs
Graduate Program Screening graduate CVs to ensure they meet the bank requirement (NQF 6). Contact the candidate for telephonic Screening, add the candidate to the Graduate tracker which will be sent to the relevant HCO. Problem solving or handling any graduate queries.
Liaising with the Department of Labour Benoni who provided African Bank with a Number of graduates nationally. Which assisted with the recruitment project.
Graduate recruitment projects.

2. Was part of a 375 Graduate Recruitment project nationally (African Bank) – May 2018
3. Headed the recruitment of 50 Graduates nationally (African Bank)-November 2018
