First was Qualit (a software product company) based in the Silicon Valley, then Diyatech Corp (a software services company with an onshore/offshore business model) based again in the Silicon Valley, and then Alachisoft (a software product company) that started from Silicon Valley but is now based in Dallas Texas.
And, my most recent startup is an eLearning education non-profit called Sabaq Foundation based in Islamabad Pakistan.
I am techy by nature with a lot of software design and development experience. And, in my earlier days, I've done software consulting off and on to bootstrap some of my businesses.
