Show profile Hide profileI am a female entrepreneur, an auto mechanic engineer and the Founder of ClockTvet Foundation in The Gambia. ClockTvet is a youth led foundation that advocate and train young people especially females on Technical and Vocational Skills.
Since the inception of ClockTvet Foundation in February 2018, I have successfully created awareness campaigns on the importance of skills education among the youths throughout The Gambia.
According to a research done by the Gambia Labor Department, only 3% of women are in the skills sector market. This has motivated me to choose this career as a female auto mechanic engineer because I want to break the stereotype that females should not be in a male dominated sector.
In addition to this, I wanted to serve as a role model for young girls who want to venture in the skills sector.
