My previous role was that of Managing Director for the South African branch of an international manufacturer of vibration equipment. Reporting directly to group CEO, based in Germany
After a global policy change my position became redundant, leaving me immediately available for a new position, preferably in a senior management role.
Whilst working for the Joest group, I can list one of my greatest achievements as managing director, as personally being instrumental in taking the company from substantial losses and debt to profitability. The last few months in the company also had us concluding 3 major contacts (one vendor account which we chased for 5 years). Extensive marketing into Africa resulted in growth of this market for this company.
Please note that whilst currently based in Pretoria, I am willing to relocate, particularly to the Western Cape or commute in the Gauteng and surrounding region. And I am willing to travel.
