Show profile Hide profileI am currently 23 years of age and born in the rustic Eastern Cape but raised amidst the bustling metropolitan madness of Cape Town. I'm completing my Honours degree in Media Theory and Practice at the University of Cape Town and have particularly honed in on working with marketing, photographic and broadcast elements over my three-four years of study. I'm constantly on the lookout for refreshing ways and methods in which to explore new stories, narratives and voices through these creative channels.
I have a knack for writing and seek to tell stories that focus on a multifaceted approach to the world we live in. These strengths and skills have been nurtured by a phenomenal group of media lectures and mentors who have provided me with both the theory and the practice pivotal to working in the industry. During my second year of studies, I was initiated into the Golden Key Society allowing me to connect and collaborate with people from around the world of various cultures, religion, ethnicity, and perspectives initiating and motivating social change movements.
I thrive off adapting to new environments and am adept at working individually or with groups of people. I thoroughly enjoy experimenting with a range of media whether social, design, video, broadcast or photographic. I am ambitious and determined when searching for nuanced ways in which to create and manage meaningful pieces of work using these mediums. I would love to be a part of a team and work atmosphere that I can greatly contribute to by providing an honest and fresh perspective.
