I'm an accomplished online media, social media and Digital PR professional that has focused on leading marketing trends in order to build a solid career.
I have spent 16 years working in the online media industry where I was responsible for key editorial, community management and content management roles.
I began my online media career in 2002 as an intern at Media 24's leading female print title, True Love magazine.
During my tenure at Big Media Online Publishers I worked on the Brand SA, City of Joburg and Mogale City accounts.
At ITWeb I reported on the latest technology news and trends across South Africa.
As a Mobile Content Manager at Starfish Mobile Technologies, I worked as an Account Manager for the MTN brand.
At ITNewsAfrica I was responsible for reporting on the latest technology news across Africa.
In 2011, I joined SME South Africa to develop a portal that focuses on news for the Small and Medium Enterprises.
I joined AVATAR agency as the Head of Content, working on the Fox Africa, National Geographic Africa, Ndalo Media, AfriSam and Business Connexion (BCX) accounts.
At eNitiate Integrated Solutions I worked as a Head of Content for the Eskom IDM account.
In 2013, I joined Global Interface Consulting as the Head of Content and Social Media, focusing on the Eskom brand, My Green Home and 49M campaign.
In 2016 I joined Havas, a global communications agency to work as a Digital Account Manager for the SAB, Kwese, SAA and Miway Life accounts.
In 2017 I began to consult with tech entrepreneurs based at 22OnSloane in Bryanston.
While consulting I was offered a digital account manager position to handle the Nestlé South Africa brand.
I obtained my first media qualification - BA Journalism Degree at the Midrand Graduate Institute in 2002.
In July 2009, I completed a part-time Digital Marketing Strategy course at the AAA School of Advertising.
Currently I'm in the process of completing a Digital Brand Strategy short course at Vega School of Brand Leadership.
During my digital marketing studies, I gained valuable information on how to become an overall media maven, specialising in key online media trends.
Throughout my career, I had a great opportunity to network with some of Africa's leading media, marketing and advertising professionals.
I firmly believe that I'm the ideal candidate for the advertised position.
