She has recruited many of her own staff in her time and assisted many colleagues to find employment. She has been actively involved with South African Chefs Association, and many other industry associations. Her leadership skills have seen her organise, co-ordinate and manage large events throughout South Africa, including the Soccer World Cup 2010.
In addition, Antonette has successfully managed 3 private businesses and assisted countless hospitality businesses increase their productivity. She was elected President of the South African Chapter of the Ordre International des Disciples d'Auguste Escoffier in 2007 after a three year membership. Appointed as director of the SA Chefs Association in 2003 - 2011, and is an accredited SACA Judge.
