A highly qualified technical engineer who has the ability to combine knowledge of mechanical engineering technology with knowledge of the basic principles of electrical and electronic circuits to design, develop, test, and manufacture electronic and computer-controlled mechanical systems, such as robotic assembly machines; has been oriented with the operation of these machines on work-sites; has exposure that overlaps both electrical and electronic engineering and mechanical engineering. These designs may include Programmable Logic Circuits (PLC), motors, shafts, pneumatic devices, thermodynamic calculations (heat transfer/exchange) and control systems.
