Adelaide Ncube began her Public Relations career at Platinum PR. She completed an internship at the agency which she won at an on-stage competition at the University of Johannesburg in 2010.
During her internship, Ncube worked on the high-profile unveiling of the 2010 Fine Art Collection and facilitated the media launch of the Artists of Africa curatorial concept. These are the first art projects that were endorsed by FIFA in its 80-year history.
Ncube was offered a permanent position as an Account Executive at Platinum PR in 2011. She has since worked on blue chip accounts such as Tiens Southern Africa, The Polish Embassy, Chartis Insurance SA, Wits Business School, Marin's Southern Africa, Graham's Fine Art Gallery, The Estate Agency Affairs Board, HR- Focus, The SA Medical and Education Foundation and Herbalife. This position has also allowed her to acquire a range of new skills that have enabled her to carve a niche for herself within the organisation.
Ncube's passion for philanthropy has also motivated her to give back to the PR industry - chiefly through her avid participation in the Platinum PR industry days that allow for high school learners and university students to experience the real world of PR. She hopes to make an impact in the industry through hard work, giving back and living for her passion, and one day owning her own PR Company (focusing on Corporate Social Responsibility).
Ncube commands a strong work ethic, and she believes in the integrity of output. Her 'can do' attitude has created a favourable employment history and elicited glowing references. She has continued to produce a high calibre of work and lives by the term "if that doesn't work for you, find out what will and don't stop trying until you get it!"
