This was truly exciting for all of us involved here at Fishwicks, as it was our energetic commitment in service, our passion for delivering innovative quality print, and our penchant offering mind-blowing customised technology solutions, that inspired us to go orange when developing our own branding. We felt it was the colour that best reflected this positioning.

Now, with an explosion in modern connectivity, everyone has been talking. The word is that there has been an exponential increase in interest from businesses wanting to know more about who we are, and what we do. Eager to meet that interest, we considered Bizcommunity an ideal place to start.

With that said, this is the start of a six-month campaign that we are launching on Bizcommunity. Our intention is to ensure we leave no stone unturned, so you can get to know us inside out. And we're confident this will lead to you letting US get to know YOU too. To generate some additional excitement we are using this platform to run a competition, as we want to prove to the winners - who may be new or existing clients (you guys already know how good we are!) - what it is like to experience dealing with Fishwicks.

Every month we will be asking a question relating to an article that we have published. Answer it correctly, and you will enter the random draw for the R20 000 worth of printing being given away every second month. Over the six months we will be giving away R60 000 worth of printing in total!

"I was invited to take the grand tour of Fishwicks' facility in Durban, and to say that I was notably impressed would be an understatement - I was, quite simply, awestruck! I have visited many factory sites in my time but none with as impressive a production line. The floor space is huge, and the world class equipment is evenly and spaciously dispersed to ensure safety and efficiency. Everything is neatly compartmentalised on one level, and you can literally follow your production as you walk from design, to finished art, to printing, to trimming, to make up, to folding, to packing and finally, to dispatch (Skilfully delivered by their newly branded fleet of Orange trucks, which boast some quirky and memorable pay off lines). Along the way you wouldn't notice you went by some 250 staff members, as they appear to work as a single unit. I put the layout and team cohesion down to their 42 years of experience. And I put the Hi-tech equipment and innovative solutions down to good management, who are keen to invest heavily back into the business and stay ahead of their game so as to deliver an unrivalled offering in print and solutions.
