Peter Southworth adds his magic to The Red & Yellow School
Peter Southworth has joined The Red & Yellow School of Logic and Magic as course director.
After studying graphic design at the Michaelis School of Art, Peter worked as an art director at advertising agencies such as The White House, JWT and Ogilvy. He was part of the four-man team that established Hunt Lascaris in Cape Town and he also started his own agency 'The Gap', with partner Allan MacDonald. When The Gap was bought by Young and Rubicam, ten years later, Peter took up the position of joint creative director at Y&R with main responsibility for the American Swiss account.
During his career, Peter has gathered a number of accolades, including a Loerie Grand Prix and Prix Nationale at Cannes. He describes his greatest moment as winning seven Loeries for the same cinema commercial on the same night. His new position will allow him to share his expertise and experience with the future stars of the industry.
