The expedition will see Joanne and her adopted dog, Oscar, embark on a three month tour of South Africa, visiting 31 SPCA's and animal societies along the way to promote the important cause of dog adoption.
Pedigree and the admirable pair are championing the cause of dog adoption and Pedigree is very proud to sponsor Oscar's mission. An alarming 75% of the world's dogs are homeless (WSPA) and with current statistics showing that each South African would need to own 15 dogs in order to home all the strays on our streets (Kloof and Highway SPCA website), now more than ever we need to show our support.
