Voicemap is looking for a dynamic content producer to work with our community of publishers on the production and distribution of self-guided audio tours. The successful candidate will bring new publishers onto the platform and manage their tours through production, promotion, and distribution. They will also assist with day-to-day admin, grow our social media presence, and provide technical support to users.

Voicemap is a fast-growing mobile app, publishing platform, and marketplace for self-guided audio tours. Over the last ten years, we have worked on thousands of walks, cycles, drives, and boat trips in over sixty countries worldwide. We plan to offer thousands more, helping people discover the world around them from new and surprising perspectives.

The role

• Review tour publishers' scripts, editing them to ensure they meet Voicemap’s standards. This involves polishing clumsy sentences, thinking through logistics, and taking responsibility for the tour's overall success.
• Work closely with publishers throughout the process, from answering questions before they create a tour to helping with mapping, script editing, audio recording, and promotion.
• Assist our social media team by identifying stories in tours for short reels, copywriting/editing captions, and sharing content across platforms. You may also source and assemble marketing materials, as well as assist publishers in marketing their tours.
• Identify potential contributors, provide information about Voicemap, and answer questions about the platform, often via video calls.
• Help the head of content manage large translation and recording projects.
• Test apps and publishing tools, providing clear feedback.
• Add tours to resellers, maintain reseller inventory, write copy, select images, and occasionally update hundreds of products. Help assess product success and suggest improvements.
• Provide customer support via email, phone, web chat, and reseller platforms.
• Learn new tools and technologies to improve efficiency and the partner/user experience.

Required qualifications

• Minimum of three years of professional experience in media production (writing, audio, or video).
• Excellent written English communication skills.
• Familiarity with work apps like Google Workspace and the ability to quickly learn new tools.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage routine tasks alongside sporadic projects.
• Your own laptop and smartphone.

• Proficient copywriting skills.
• Experience in sales or customer service.
• SEO experience.
• Analytical ability, especially when working with data.

Location - We work from a coworking space two days a week and remotely for three days. You will need your own transport for office days.

Compensation - This is a junior to mid-level position with a market-related salary.
