Structural Engineer/Technologist

We are looking for a skilled structural engineer /technologist to provide comprehensive civil and structural engineering services. This includes the design and oversight of industrial and commercial steel and reinforced concrete structures, as well as associated civil engineering components, tendering, and construction monitoring responsibilities.

Key responsibilities:

• Design civil-structural infrastructure projects.
• Produce and deliver related reports and engineering drawings.
• Manage project phases, timelines, and performance metrics.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of various resources involved in design and production.
• Engage actively in contract administration and client relations.

Key competencies:

• Hold a BSc.Eng. / B.Eng. / B.Tech.Eng. degree (a post-graduate qualification in civil/structural engineering is advantageous).
• Professionally registered with ECSA (Pr.Eng or Pr.Tech.Eng).
• Minimum of 10 years of technical and practical experience in civil/structural engineering (experience in designing water-retaining structures is a plus).
• Strong technical and practical engineering skills in designing public, private, and industrial infrastructure.
• Proficient in 3D CAD/Modeling and FEM analysis software (proficiency in Autodesk Revit is advantageous).
• Well-versed in the relevant engineering disciplines involved in public, private, and industrial infrastructure projects.
• Excellent command of English, with strong communication and critical thinking skills.
• A person of integrity who adheres to engineering ethics.
• Ability to build and maintain healthy relationships.
• Skilled in identifying, analyzing, and devising solutions to engineering challenges.
• Appreciation for and aptitude in business expansion.
