We’re hiring a gallery manager!
Are you passionate about connecting people with incredible art? Do you love the idea of working with talented South African artists and being part of a vibrant, creative space?
The Artists Gallery is looking for a dynamic, detail-oriented, and approachable gallery manager to join our team at 34 Bree Street, Cape Town.
This is a full-time position where you’ll work alongside a fantastic team, representing a diverse range of South African talent. No art background is required—just a love for creativity, excellent communication skills, and a knack for problem-solving.
Requirements:
- You enjoy selling and connecting with people
- You have an open and approachable personality
- You possess excellent communication skills
- You understand the needs of an international clientele
- You pay attention to detail and stay well-organized under pressure
- You thrive on solving problems efficiently and creatively
- You love South African art and appreciate its cultural significance; we don’t expect you to have an art background
